braXos Security Software Releases Case Study on Utah Transit Authority Security Integration

Innovative S2-Active Directory integration increases organization’s security, efficiency

NEW ALBANY, Ohio — May 20, 2015 — Today, braXos Security Software released a case study detailing its work on an innovative security solution for Utah Transit Authority (UTA) by integrating the organization’s S2 and Active Directory systems.

braXos worked with Stone Security, a company that specializes in modern security integration, to update UTA’s provisioning process. One of UTA’s primary objectives was to improve the Physical Security Department’s processes with both on-boarding new and off-boarding terminated employees. braXos’ Steward Active Directory – S2 integration solution successfully accomplished this objective.

“The braXos integration significantly helped with our workflow and efficiency. It is important that we now don’t need to work in two databases to update employee badges,” said Stacey Rogers, HRIS administrator at UTA.
The case study outlines UTA’s challenge of managing physical access of employees, visitors and vendors proactively, using accurate data and how braXos’ innovative solution helped them establish an automated access control provisioning operation. “The Utah Transit Authority has more than 2,300 employees with authorized badges,” said Tom Skoulis, chief connection officer at braXos Security Software. “Automating UTA’s credential management practice dramatically reduced the time to update the personnel database, as well as eliminated data entry errors, so this integration is key to their organization’s security and operational efficiency.”
