Cloud access control removed the server from the closet. It did not remove the person retyping every new hire into the access control system, and it did not connect the badge at the door to the elevator that carries the person to their floor. The braXos platform now integrates with ProdataKey, and the new connector closes both gaps with one integration layer.

Why this matters
In most buildings the access control system is the last place an employment change lands. Someone is hired on Monday and badged on Thursday. Someone changes departments and keeps the access they no longer need. Someone leaves and their credential stays live until a manager remembers to file a request.
In a tower, the same problem repeats one floor up. The credential opens the turnstile, then the journey stops. Either the elevator is left unsecured, or someone maintains floor permissions by hand in a second system that knows nothing about the first. Connecting the identity source, the door, and the elevator bank through one layer removes both the delay and the duplicate administration.

In towers, the credential is only half the journey. braXos reads the badge event at the turnstile or lobby kiosk and places the elevator call automatically, routing each person to their authorized home floor without a button press. Floor authorization is derived from the same groups that drive door access, and time-of-day schedules lock and unlock floors on their own. Supported across 10+ elevator manufacturers on both destination dispatch and traditional hall-call systems.
Commercial Real Estate and Flex Workspace
Property and workspace operators provision access from tenant and member systems rather than from the front desk. When a member joins or a tenant employee is onboarded, their PDK credential is issued and scoped to the right doors, floors, and amenity spaces automatically. Move-in, move-out, and membership changes are handled without manual coordination between building staff and tenant administrators.
Visitor and Contractor Floor Access
Visitors and contractors create the most access risk and the most administrative work, and in a tower they also need a way up. braXos issues time-bound PDK credentials scoped to specific doors, floors, and schedules, grants the matching elevator destinations, then withdraws both automatically when the visit or engagement ends. No standing access outlives the work it was granted for, and the grant and its removal are recorded.
Mixed-Estate Portfolios
Few portfolios run one access control platform, and almost none run one elevator manufacturer. braXos Symphony synchronizes credentials and access rules across PDK sites and sites on Genetec, LenelS2, C•CURE 9000, or Brivo, so a single person carries consistent access across the estate. Acquisitions and new construction are brought under the same identity layer without replacing what is already installed.

A hire, transfer, role change, or termination triggers a data update in the upstream identity or HR system. That system stays the single source of truth.

PDK is updated
braXos Composer calls the PDK Auth API to create, modify, or revoke person records, credentials, and group membership automatically, and applies the matching floor authorization to the elevator system.

Changes are recorded
Provisioning activity is recorded with a timestamp, source, and change detail, so access reviews and reporting can draw on it.
