With a bustling restaurant and multiple floors of public access, a Midtown Manhattan Hotel required secure elevator access to ensure only Guests and Staff could access guest room floors. Using its Steward Middleware Platform, braXos Security Software integrated the ASSA ABLOY Visionline with Motion Control Engineering (MCE) Destination Dispatch to deliver the exact secure hotel experience for the ultimate in Guest security.  Featuring ASSA ABLOY’s Bluetooth Reader (BLE), braXos listens for reads from Staff Key Fobs, physical Guest Room Key Cards, or Guest Smartphone Digital Keys. Upon presentation to the BLE reader, braXos sends a real-time message to the MCE destination dispatch system authorizing or denying access of MCE to dispatch the proper elevator. Unique building rules and a security-based elevator schedule was created to provide the exact secure functionality that the hotel was looking for.
