The braXos Stentofon Connector can be used with Vingtor-Stentofon’s AlphaCom XE Server systems and IP intercom products to allow those products to participate in an Event Driven Architecture (EDA). When deployed with braXos Steward middleware, the braXos Stentofon Connector can listen for intercom events and execute actions such as:
- Triggering an event in an access control system, such as calling up a camera, adding activity log entries, or enabling an alarm
- Logging the event to a Splunk collector for enterprise analysis and reporting
- Calling an elevator, or temporary enabling access to select destination floors at secured kiosks
- Delivering email notifications of activity at the calling or receiving station
- Setting Bacnet points associated with the calling or receiving station, to, for example, awaken HVAC or lighting equipment
Customers of the Vingtor-Stentofon’s AlphaCom XE Server platform and Critical Communication over IP (CCoIP) intercom software and products have limitless integration possibilities when combined with the power of the braXos Stentofon Connector and the versatility of the braXos Steward middleware platform and connector library.
